Who We Are?
The Division of Technical and Vocational Education, formerly known as the St Vincent Technical College, is the branch of the SVGCC which specialises in the training and certification of students, with a focus in equipping learners with the relevant skills, attitudes and knowledge needed to prepare them for work in keeping with occupational standards. At the DTVE, learners are engaged in a combination of practical and theory based training which focuses on developing competence in a specific skill, while providing them with the foundation needed to pursue further studies if they so desire.
At the DTVE, we offer 15 full time Applied Associate Degree programmes and 2 full time Applied Certificate programmes across three Departments in two locations. The main campus is located at Arnos Vale, while the Hospitality and Maritime Training Institute at Diamond facilitates some practical sessions for students in the Department of Hospitality and Agriculture.
